School Lunches

We offer a hot lunch every day which is cooked on site.

Meal costs are as follows:

• £2.20 for Nursery children (as of September 2026),

• Free for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 (Universal free school meals (UFSM))

• £2.70 (as of September 2026) for children in Year 3 and upwards (unless you qualify for means tested free school meals (FSM)).

How to order school lunches

Lunches are booked and paid for using the School Spider App. Please click below on the Parent Guide for booking lunches on School Spider for instructions on how to order a lunch. Lunches MUST be ordered by 8.30am on the day in which the lunch is required. All children requiring a lunch must order one in advance, even if they receive free school meals.

Free School Meals

From September 2026 the free school meal qualifying criteria is being expanded. This change means that all households receiving Universal Credit will qualify for free school meals – no matter their income.

There are two categories of Free School Meal (FSM) eligibility under the Universal Credit criteria:

Eligible targeted: this covers children in households in receipt of Universal Credit with annual household earnings of £7,400 or less. These children will attract pupil premium and other disadvantage funding for their schools. Other education entitlements, such as the holiday activities and food programme (HAF) and the ‘extended rights’ element of school travel assistance, will be based on targeted free school meals.

Eligible expanded: this covers children who are in households receiving Universal Credit with annual household earnings exceeding £7,400. Children will be entitled to free school meals only.

Menus

Our current menus and allergen information can be viewed below. The menu runs on a three week cycle. Children with an allergy can order from the Allergen menu. If your child has an allergy please speak to the School Office.
