Exploring the Heart Using VR

In year 6, to help our understanding of the circulatory system, we used VR Googles to look around the inside of the heart. It took in through the right atrium, then through the valve to the right ventricle, then off to the lungs. We then followed the oxygenated blood into the left atrium, through the valve and then into the right ventricle, before being pumped to the body. This gave a clear understanding of how the heart functions. It was great fun using them but also watching the other children while they were using them.
